Thackley AFC are a not-for-profit, volunteer run, community sports organisation, running a semi-professional Men’s Team and a Women’s Team, and proudly supports the development of over 500 junior players in the local area through our affiliated club, Thackley Juniors.

The Club has been run by volunteers since its formation in 1930, and supports many local and charitable organisations in addition to providing sporting facilities to the local community.

Thackley AFC focusses on operating in a sustainable way, and we are thankful to all volunteers, sponsors, donors and supporters who help raise funds each year to allow the Club to continue serve the local community.

We are delighted to announce that the ‘Thackley AFC 100 Club’ will launch from 1 August 2023. Providing you with a great way to support our Club whilst having a bit of a flutter! Here’s how it works…

How it works

Complete and sign a registration form and set up a standing order mandate for £10 per month or £120 annually (if you prefer to pay a year up front) to any Club official per ticket.

This buys you one 100 Club ticket number (that we will allocate), which enters you into each monthly draw that will take place on the last day of each month. If you would like to purchase more than one number then you can do so at the same cost per number / entry.

The three monthly winners will be notified and bank details requested to send you your winnings! The monthly prizes on offer every month are:

First Prize - £200
Second Prize - £100
Third Prize - £50

The name of the winner will also be published on the Thackley AFC website and across our social media pages.

The remaining money raised will be used to support Thackley AFC for the running costs of the Club, improvements to the Club’s infrastructure, help with funding equipment and resources, and provide further sporting opportunities for our young players. All participants must be over 18.
